THE running of two very different races is likely to dominate a profitable year for media and market research group Aegis.
The group forecast a year of progress, with the Olympics and the US Presidential Election likely to boost revenues.
The firm said there were signs of an upturn in advertising in its core markets of North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Global spending on advertising would be 4.7 per cent this year, against 3.2 per cent a year ago, with confidence returning to business as the world economy picked up, Aegis said.
In a statement ahead of its full-year results in March, Aegis said it was meeting market hopes of underlying profits of £75m compared with £71.4m a year ago.
