MODELS of modes of travel and transport down the years have formed a new year display at a visitor centre attraction.
Exhibits on show in the Discovery Centre, at Seaton Holme, in Easington Village, include models from collectors Alan Appleby and Bill Day.
Mr Appleby, 58, from Normanby, Teesside, who originally hails from the Easington area, has returned to Seaton Holme to show his die-cast model aircraft collection.
A keen aeroplane spotter, Mr Appleby has built up his collection over a number of years, reflecting the changing face of aviation.
Mr Day, who lives locally, works at Seaton Holme as the parish clerk for Easington Village.
His collection includes a mix of commercial vehicles dating between the 1930s to the sixties.
Some are bought models, others have been adapted by Mr Day and he has made several models from scratch, using plastic sheeting.
The displays will be on show at the Discovery Centre, for four weeks.
The former medieval manor house opened on Monday after the festive break.
Visitors can call in to see the displays from Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4pm.
