EIGHTEEN customers from a Wear Valley pub showed their skills at traditional bar room games to win a trip to Germany.
The team from the Golden Fleece, in Hope Street, Crook, were regional winners of the Pubmaster Pub Challenge in a competition held in Derby.
The knockout tournament was based on darts, draughts, dominoes and Connect Four.
More than 800 teams competed for the challenge's first prize, an all-expenses paid holiday in Mexico.
Golden Fleece landlord Tony Heslop said: "I just can't believe that we made it through to the final. The Golden Fleece is a real community spirited pub and it just goes to show what can happen when we all pull together.
"We all thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the competition and I'm sure we are all going to have a fantastic time celebrating in Hamburg."
