CHRISTMAS may be over but pantomime fans still have until Sunday to see the star-studded cast of Cinderella.
Kate Heavenor, who plays the starring role at the Sunderland Empire's production, kept up her chores at Lumley Castle near Chester-le-Street yesterday, where she swept the grounds while she waited for her Prince Charming.
She is appearing alongside stars including Darren Day, who plays Buttons, Jean Fergusson, as the magical Fairy Godmother, who plays Marina in the television comedy Last of the Summer Wine, and Syd Little half of the Little and Large duo.
Cinderella is performed at 2pm and 7pm today and Friday, and at 1pm and 4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets are priced from £5 to £16.50 and are available from the box office on 0191-514 2517.
