Stanhope Town visited Stillington The Royal in the Minor Cup and went one down through Paul Cleary.
A goal from Andy Lee made it 1-1 at half time but Stanhope lost Gary Parker with a hamstring injury and this proved a turning point. The home side took control and went 3-1 up through Lee Norman and Paul Birt. Stanhope replied with a last minute goal from Andy Lee but it came too late to change the game.
Coundon and Leeholme Juniors were always second best in their tie at Sunderland Gates.
The home side won 6-2 and were 5-0 up before Shaun Tarling and Mark Ross scored the Coundon consolations.
Cup holders West Auckland Queens Head are now the only Crook League side left in the competition after their tie was postponed.
