Paul Lowe of Middlesbrough AC (Mandale) won the Guisborough Woods fell race over five-and-a-half miles finishing nearly one minute clear of Charles Stead of NFR, who had beaten him the last time the pair raced in the Guisborough 3 Peaks race in November.
Jon McCready of Darlington finished third with Tim Skidmore of Middlesbrough fourth.
Ken Maynard of Darlington was the leading veteran finishing in 11th place overall.
The ladies race was won by Kim Buckley of Dark Peak ahead of Caroline Pollard of Thirsk who was the leading lady veteran.
Tom Winsor of Lakeland won the junior race ahead of William Hayward of Thirsk.
