Willington and District League: Ithe re-arranged top of the table clash Sunnybrow Brown Trout managed to stay at the top of the table when they recovered from a two points deficit against the visiting third placed, Willington Cottles.
The visitors went ahead with wins from Wilf Sharp and Gilly Spark but the Trout fought back to level with wins from Dave Blackburn and Les Welsh. The decider proved to a battle between the captains with the Trout's Harry Sewell beating Brett Fleming.
Willington Brewer's Droop and Willington Lion and Unicorn re-arranged both their matches with the matches being shared as the away team won in both. Paul King and David Hawkins won for the Unicorn at home, whilst Mike Hanky, Billy Wragg and Alan Rickaby took the Brewers to victory.
However in the home game for the Brewers only Bob Saunders scored a point, whilst Sheila Lee, Paul Williams, David Hawkins and Paul King took the Unicorn to victory.

Esh Stag's Head lead at the top of the Captain's Table but will have a tough struggle against Newhouse Club and Tow Law Dan's Castle if they are to take the title.
