A TEAM from Teesdale School in Barnard Castle have won the Bishop Auckland Football Association girls under-12 trophy in a tournament held at Sunnydale School in Shildon.
The girls qualified for the finals after winning their matches against Durham Johnston, Parkside and King James at Willington. In the finals they maintained their 100pc record by defeating teams from Sedgefield, Sunnydale and Parkside to lift the county trophy.
The win means the girls now go on to represent Bishop Auckland district in the northern regional tournament in February.
