CRAFTSMAN Lee Summers would be the first to admit he is the image of his father.
For like his father Steve, Lee, from Linthorpe, in Middlesbrough, has become self-employed manufacturing made-to-order mirrors.
The 25-year-old previously worked with his father, who had a business in the town, but decided that he wanted the challenge of going solo.
Now he has got a workshop in Norton, called Reflector Glass, and takes orders for any shapes or sizes of plain or decorative mirrors.
Lee said: "There is a huge demand for mirrors made to specification, and I have been approached by businesses, including gyms, wanting huge wall-to-wall mirrors.
"People at home like to have something else that no one else has got, and with all the Changing Rooms-style programmes there is a lot of interest in interior design. A mirror can really change a room."
Lee spent years learning his craft under the expert guidance of his father.
He has been helped to launch his business by the Middlesbrough office of InBiz, the national business support organisation that helps people move to self employment.
