STAFF at the World of James Herriot centre, in Thirsk, are celebrating after winning an award.
Manager Sue Dalton received the prize for best dressed shop window in the local chamber of trade's festive competition.
BBC North Yorkshire presenter Sandie Dunleavy made the presentation on behalf of the chamber.
Christmas attractions at the centre, in Kirkgate, included an illuminated Rudolph the Reindeer.
The centre was also festooned with decorations depicting the 1940s and 1950s, when the real James Herriot, vet and author Alf Wight, lived and worked there.
