THE father of a North-East soldier who was found dead at Deepcut Barracks has criticised delays in the publication of a police report.
Private Geoff Gray, 17, of Seaham, County Durham, died from gunshot wounds at the Surrey base in 2001, and his family have refused to accept the Army's statement that his death was suicide.
Three other young recruits have also been found dead at Deepcut between 1995 and 2002.
A report into the deaths was to be published by Surrey Police today, but has been delayed. It is not known when it will be released.
Pte Gray's father, also called Geoff, said the wait for the report, which could heavily criticise Army officials, had been frustrating.
Surrey Police said the report was still being finalised, but there were hopes that it would be published in the next few weeks.
Independent forensics expert Frank Swann has carried out an investigation into the deaths.
He concluded that three of the soldiers, including Pte Gray, could not have killed themselves.
