WORK on the A66 south Stockton link road between the A135 Yarm Road and the A1045 Thornaby Road will continue until November.
Narrow lanes are in use at all times on the eastbound carriageway, with closures on both lanes when necessary between 9.30am and 3.30pm, overnight and weekends.
Works on the A1130 Bridge Road tie-in started last week and will last five months while narrow lane working and lane closures are in operation.
From today, Transco will require a lane closure between Boathouse Lane and Riverside roundabout. Delays are expected at peak times and drivers are asked to use an alternative route if possible.
Gas replacement work on behalf of Transco will be carried out in Norton Road, Stockton, until early February, but pedestrian access will not be affected.
Cable installation work will continue in Marsh House Avenue, between Braemer Road and Cowpen Lane, until the end of the month or the beginning next month.
Stockton Borough Council's highway construction services will start safety schemes and road maintenance today for the next nine weeks in Durham Road, Stockton.
The work will include the use of temporary traffic lights and reduced speeds are advised through some sections, causing some delays.
