TWO Teesdale women are celebrating their dogs' success at one of the most difficult dog trials in the country.
Pat Brown, from Whorlton, and Hazel Barker, from Barnard Castle, qualified for the final of the Pedigree Agility Stakes, held during last month's International Showjumping Champion-ships, at Olympia, in London.
Ms Barker's three-year old collie, Zack, came third in the main dog agility event.
She said: "This is the first time I've been and just qualifying for the event was fantastic. I never expected to do this well."
Professional dog trainer Ms Brown has taken part at Olympia for 12 years. This year she won an invitational speed jumping event with her collie, Ladbrook Izit Dodgy
She said: "I was delighted to win the speed jumping. Although I didn't do so well on the dog agility, Hazel did extremely well. I helped with the training, so that was the next best thing."
