A DURHAM company has gained a string of customers from across Europe with the help of a Government programme.
Belt Technologies Europe, at the Mountjoy Research Centre in Stockton Road, Durham, was helped by the UK Trade and Investment's Passport to Export Success programme.
The company produces stainless steel belts, pulleys and conveyor belts, and offers technical design service for a range of industries.
European sales manager Brian Harbison said: "Passport enabled us to access resources, which enabled us to exhibit in Italy for the first time.
"We also produced brochures and literature in Italian, Spanish and French and advertised in the media in those countries.
"Germany was a large existing market and this year we were also able to attend three exhibitions, become more focused in our aims and target specific market sectors important to our business."
