KEEPING people warm this winter is creating jobs in east Cleveland.
A scheme to increase energy efficiency in people's homes has won a £170,000 European grant.
Two recruitment days are being held next week to find office staff, energy efficiency assessors, surveyors and installers for the Warm Zone scheme.
Those eligible must come from Kirkleatham, Coatham, Newcommen, Dormanstown, Loftus, Lockwood and Skinningrove, Guisborough, Eston, Teesville, Grangetown or South Bank.
Peter Burnip, project manager, said: "We can offer both full and part-time places for local people and will wherever possible offer flexible hours to suit their circumstances."
Recruitment takes place at James Finnegan Hall, in Fabian Road, Eston, on Tuesday, and Redcar Central Library, in Coatham Road, Redcar, next Wednesday.
