HUNDREDS of people packed a Malton church for the funeral of a hospital medical secretary.
Joanna Rookes, 35, died when she was involved in an accident while unpacking cases from her car near her Malton home.
Donations left at St Leonard's Catholic Church by the funeral congregation will go towards an extension to the library at St Mary's Catholic School in Malton.
Parish priest Father Timothy Bywater said the work was expected to take between 18 months and two years to complete.
He said a memorial plaque would be put up on the building in her memory.
Celtic Football Club sent a message to the service to mark Ms Rookes' support for the team and her coffin was draped in the club's flag.
Several of the mourners worse sweatshirts in Celtic's team colours of green and white.
