Wear Valley Ladies League: Crook Golden Fleece opened out an 11 points gap at the top of the table after they won by three points at Byers Green Royal Oak, despite the 140 and 120 from Angela McDonald and 120 from Abigail Hodgson for the home side.

Tow Law New Market A completed their fourth maximum win of the season when they left the visiting Hamsteels Inn without a point. They had singles wins from Andrew Atkinson, Bobby Gray, Andy Elston, David Dixon, Colin Armstrong and Kenneth Atkinson to add to their two trebles and three doubles points. This result pushed the New Market 15 points clear at the top with a match in hand.
Newhouse Club dropped three points to the visiting Tow Law New Market B but remain safely in second place, 17 points ahead of the third placed, Billy Row Club. Michael Bell and Alan Thompson took singles for the New Market B, but the home side replied through Keith Liddle, Steve Turner, Tom McQuillan and Steve Wilkie. The visitors only other point came when Stephen Umpelby and Alan Thompson won the first doubles.
