A TEESDALE company that made motor-cycle racing leathers for some of the country's top riders has closed its shop.
AM Leathers, in Barnard Castle, which made biking gear for police forces as well as national and international motorcycle racing enthusiasts, has sold its shop in Galgate.
The shop was run by Stephen Anderson in partnership with his sister, Johanne.
Mr Anderson said he was taking a break from the business for personal reasons and did not wish to comment further.
AM Leathers moved to its premises at 116 Galgate from a smaller shop at 82c Galgate, in 1999
