A NORTH-EAST musician is hoping his first concert in his home city will be a nostalgic night.
Eric Clapton look and sound-alike Mike Hall and his band Classic Clapton will play at Durham's Gala Theatre on Thursday, February 5, at 8pm.
Mr Hall, 51, was born and brought up in Durham, but now lives in Newcastle.
"I'm really looking forward to it. After all these years I have never played in Durham,'' he said.
"I am hoping some of my friends from Durham Johnston School days will be there."
Mr Hall has made two albums and featured in a television documentary about tribute bands.
The band started life as After Midnight 18 years ago and performed at the Glastonbury Festival and at the Royal Festival Hall in 2002.
Tickets cost £10, concessions £9. They are available from the box office on 0191-332 4041.
