YOUNG entrepreneur Claire Dodd has created an education company that takes science into the classroom - but with a twist.
InSCInc uses drama and pantomime to teach Key Stage Two pupils in the region.
The show is a presentation of A-ladd-in Space covering topics on the solar system, nutrition and healthy living.
The story depicts Aladdin as a science enthusiast and space traveller.
The dame of the show, Granny Smith, is an expert on skeletons and a fitness fanatic.
Ms Dodd, director of InSCInc, developed the storyline and co-wrote the script.
She said: "My background is in science education, but I have performed in amateur theatre for over eleven years.
"A year ago I decided to utilise the way children can learn from performances and drama to bring education into entertainment.
"The first show I put on last year was really well-received, so this year I have been even more adventurous with costumes and wonderful sets.
"My aim is to make science fun, enjoyable, understandable and relevant."
For the second year InSCInc has received support from Setpoint Tees Valley.
Thousands of Key Stage Two children across the region will see the pantomime, which started touring in December and continues until the end of January.
