A GRANT scheme to help natural environment projects across Hambleton still has cash in its pot.
The £8,000 Natural Environment Fund is being used to achieve the aims of the district's Biodiversity Action Plan.
Councillors want to see wildlife habitats such as ponds and small woods created and countryside hedges and trees planted.
Grants can also be made to organisations such as schools and Cub Scout groups for educational wildlife projects.
Application forms are available by calling (01609) 767165 or from the website at www.hambleton.gov.uk
