A new feed for horses and ponies is helping animal feed manufacturer I'Ansons set new export records.
Speedi-Bett, developed by I'Ansons Masham Micronized Feeds (MMF) business, can be prepared and ready for use within ten minutes, compared to the usual 24-hour soaking time of traditional sugar beet products.
The product is now selling in a dozen countries, including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Spain, the United Arab Emirates. Eire, Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand.
Other markets are expected to open up to the new products in the near future.
MMF director Will I'Anson said: "We are delighted with the continuing success of Speedi-Beet both at home and abroad.
"We realised we had a winner on our hands by the reaction when we launched the product in the UK but the overseas demand is outstripping all our forecasts."
Speedi-Beet has gone from strength to strength since its launch in November 2000 following an intense period of research and development.
