A RECRUITMENT campaign has been launched find staff for the new Walkers Crisps warehouse in Peterlee.
Up to 45 jobs in a range of positions are unfilled at the £5m building.
JobCentre Plus, in Durham, is working with the snack food company to fill the vacancies.
Walkers announced in July that it was building the warehouse with the creation of up to 50 jobs.
Christine Callaghan, field account manager for Durham JobCentre Plus, said: "It is a tremendous job opportunity offering a good salary for people with the right kind of skills and experience."
A spokesperson for Walkers Crisps said: "We have invested more than £5m installing state-of-the-art equipment in our Peterlee site which will be at the heart of our 24/7 UK distribution system, and naturally need to recruit new staff."
