PARENTS in east Cleveland can learn to become soccer bosses in a ten-week course.
They will do a level two course in FA coaching, following the success of a ten-week level one course before Christmas, when 17 parents received certificates and a tour of Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium.
Neil Doyle, of Middlesbrough Football Club's community project, will cover coaching skills and general physical fitness activities.
Then the family group will be split up, with the adults concentrating on written work an the children playing football before a match all together.
The course, launched by Sure Start East Cleveland and the Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's Adult Education Service, will be held at St Peter's Church of England Primary School's sports hall in Marshall Drive, Brotton, tonight from 6.15pm to 8pm.
