PRIMARY children were filmed for their television debut yesterday.
The youngsters, from Lambton Primary School in Washington, Wearside, were all taking part in the BBC children's television programme, Crush, which was filmed at Lumley Castle, near Chester-le-Street, County Durham.
The programme-makers travel around schools in the UK and give selected youngsters and their friends the chance to win a prize by revealing how much they know about each other.
In the episode filmed yesterday, pupils dressed in period costume and took part in a medieval banquet, a ghost hunt and played croquet on the lawn.
