Darlington Allstars: The bad weather last weekend saw all but one of the Allstars' matches postponed.

The Under-15s were away to South Bank Juniors for this week's league fixture. The Allstars started well in the first half and pulled off some good chances, but South Bank scored two quick goals to make the half time score 2-0 to South Bank. The Allstars came out fighting in the second half displaying some good organised moves and tactical passing. Robert Moore opened the scoring from a well worked free kick and another fine display by man of the match Jonathon Vinton brought the scores level at 2-2. Daniel McLachlan kept the Allstars in the game with some fine saves and the entire squad worked hard resulting in the points being shared and a 2-2 draw.

Darlington Spraire Lads lost ground in the race for the championship when they were defeated 4-0 visiting top of the table Gateshead Redheugh.

The Darlington side played well in the first period which ended goalless, but once Redheugh went in front there was no stopping the Tynesiders.

Michael Robinson was first to strike and soon after David McDermott added a second to leave Spraire Lads with a mountain to climb.

They pushed forward in an attempt to reduce the deficit leaving the way open for Christopher Wilson and Tony Thirkell to make the final score 4-0.

This was the only game to be played because of adverse weather conditions and Redheugh are now seven points in front of Spraire Lads who have just two games in hand.

At the bottom Consett Badgers are still without a point following 11 attempts and are ten points adrift from second from basement Darlington College.
