SUPERFIT soldiers have been putting their muscles to the test to help babies.
Personnel of all ranks from the infantry training centre at Catterick Garrison took part in a sponsored 12-hour row.
The event was organised by Corporals Stuart Mann and Steve Smith and raised more than £3,380.
Sister Anne Wall, from the special care baby unit at the Friarage Hospital, in Northallerton, thanked everyone involved in the effort.
The money will be used to buy two pulse-oximeter machines to help some of the hospital's youngest patients and their families.
