AN exhibition that commemorates aspects of life at the ICI industrial complex in Billingham, Teesside, has gone on show at the town's art gallery.
The exhibition, which runs until April 3, gives an insight into the social and working life of the site.
Archive photographs are on display, along with written memories, film footage, a slide show, original product adverts and other artefacts.
Images by artist Helen Marbrow, inspired by the plant, have also gone on display.
Members of the public are invited to complement the exhibition with their own images and recollections.
Photographs will be scanned on to computers and displayed, and the originals returned.
The aims of the exhibition are to remember how people lived and worked, to stir memories for older generations and to give an insight into the nature of industrial life.
Billingham Art Gallery, in Billingham town centre, is open Monday to Saturday, between 9am and 5pm.
