TWO law students at a North-East sixth form college have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge universities.
The pair, from Stockton Sixth Form College, were unsure as to how well they had done in their interviews and were surprised when they were offered places.
Tom Dye, 18, from Stockton, is studying A-levels in maths, physics, law and German. He has been offered a place at Queen's College, Cambridge, where he will study for an LLB.
Eloise Poole, 18, from Thornaby, who is preparing for A-levels in law, psychology and history, has been offered a place at Hertford College, Oxford, where she will study jurisprudence.
