THREE masked men with a firearm and machete-type knife fled with cash after threatening staff on a North-East industrial estate.
A police spokesman said the raiders struck at Shoe City, on the Sands Industrial Estate, in Swalwell, Gateshead, shortly before 6pm on Friday. No one was hurt.
The men are believed to have left in a vehicle that was parked nearby.
