Division One featured an excellent 2-2 draw between Spraire RA and the Shuttle and Loom - a game which saw Spraire fight back from two goals down to a deserved point against their visitors. After a goalless first half Shuttle scored with goals from Mark Jenkinson and Terry Greenstreet, but with Spraire pushing forward Shuttle were never comfortable.
The home side's pressure was rewarded with goals from Andrew Wetherall and Darren Kokes and with both teams looking for all three points it was Spaire who came the closest to winning in the dying minutes.
Hurworth Albion went to Newton Aycliffe Sports Club and put up an excellent effort but it was the home side who came out winners 3-2. Darren Wray and Darren Tate found the back of the Sports Club net, but goals from Paul Baird, Andrew Turner and man of the match Paul Stout proved too much for the visitors.
