A woman who allegedly told airport security staff she had a bomb in her luggage appeared in court today.
Lesley Brennan, 48, of Wheatley Gardens, West Boldon, Tyneside, made a five-minute appearance before magistrates in Newcastle after she was charged with communicating false infromation to Easyjet check-in workers at Newcastle Airport on January 23.
The court heard that due to problems copying video footage of the alleged incident the case had to be adjourned for three weeks.
At the time, a tv crew from the ITV Airline documentary show captured the drama as it unfolded.
Mrs Brennan will next appear before Newcastle Magistrates' Court court on Friday February 23.
She did not enter a plea to the charge and was granted unconditional bail.
