Crook Jelly's Bar B enjoyed the thrill of recording their first victory of the season after 11 consecutive defeats when they won the deciding doubles on their visit to Willington Brewer's Droop.
The singles were shared with Bob Sanders, Stephen Britton and Billy Wragg winning for the home side and Mick Harker, Lee Genner and Paul Dowson equalised. In the deciding doubles Lee Genner and Mick Harker beat Vince Conaty and Billy Wragg.
Crook Mill House failed by the odd point at Willington Market and are now in severe danger of being relegates as they are next to bottom in the First Division. The Market had singles wins from Dave Tobell, Gary Trow, Ian Moore and Paul Briddick, whilst Mark Nichol and Gary Ward replied with singles and Mark Thompson joined Mark Nichol to take the doubles.
Crook Olde Horse Shoe A edged their way back to the top of the First Division with a one point advantage over Crook Travellers Rest B, with Crook Royal Sun and Crook Belle Vue a further ten points adrift. Crook Coach and Horses B lead the Second Division by twenty points with Crook White Swan B in second place a point ahead of Crook Olde Horse Shoe B.
