The improving Newton Cap got of to a great start when the visited AFC Aruba with Matthew Gowland scoring early in the first half.

Latchman then increased the lead following a corner for the visitors, Hurst then made it three when the finished after a through-ball by Paul Byrne. The Cappers were in control and it was the inflential pairing of Byrne and Paul Stewart who set up chance after chance with Gowland then scoring his second. His hat-trick goal followed a minute later straight from the Aruba re-start, he increased the lead and improved his own tally with goals four and five after some excellent work from Hurst.

The second 45 minutes saw Aruba come back into the game with Gardner scoring a well-deserved goal. The hosts side doubled their tally with a goal from Holt but it was Cap who came back again and scored with Hursts' second of the game. Aruba kept plugging away and Gardner scored his second, and then followed up with his hat-trick goal and the best of the three when he lobbed Tyrone Moore in the Newton Cap goal from 30 yards. But the day belonged to Newton Cap and in particular Matthew Gowland who completed a double hat-trick. Paul Richardson came off the bench to make his debut for Cap and found the back of the net twice - his second was all his own work as he chased a lost cause, then had the composure to beat two men and fire home to make the final score 11-4 to Newton Cap.

Drinkfield played hosts to the Falchion and took all three points thanks to a double strike from David Elsdon which saw the home side to victory by 2-0.

Sherwoods played hosts to high flying St Augustines and it was the visitors who took control of the game and came away with a 5-1 victory. Smith and Allan had to contend with the improving Goodfellas and although the home side found the net through Jamie Irving, it was Goodfellas who added yet another victory to their season with goals from Shaun Sproates and a double from man of the match Chris Tarn.

Axa Insurance found visitors Haughton too hot to handle and suffered a 3-0 defeat for the second time in two weeks thanks to three second half goals. The first came from Andy McLeod who picked the ball up to the left of the penalty area and proceeded to curl theball into the far corner of the net with an excellent finish - or a cross which beat the keeper. Axa had chance to equalise then minutes later when Martyn Railton broke through, but collided with keeper Heaney and the chance was lost. Haughton took a further grip on the game with a quarter of an hour remaining when Paul Legg broke from the centre circle and finished cooly with a deft chip over the on rushing keeper Luke Stott. Legg then added his second and Haughton's third when he capitalised on some poor defending to tap home with the last kick of the game.
