VISITORS to a North-East gallery this weekend will have the chance to have their photograph shown next to some of the country's most famous faces.
Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens is running a competition alongside its exhibition of prints from the National Portrait Gallery.
Entitled Fame: Pictures from the National Portrait Gallery, it features shots of Robbie Williams, Princess Diana, Elizabeth Taylor, and Sir Bobby Charlton.
The competition invites visitors to fill in a form detailing their claim to fame. The winner will have their photograph professionally taken and hung next to the likes of people such as Florence Nightingale and Horatio Nelson.
Entries to the Claim to Fame competition must be submitted by Sunday.
