CONSCIENTIOUS youngsters are to be rewarded for keeping their town tidy.
Throughout this month, Middlesbrough Council's Streetscene Services will be handing out prizes to youngsters who are seen using litter bins or who get involved in litter picking events.
Street wardens will be giving out more than 100 CDs to those seen actively helping tackle the litter problem.
There will be a star prize for one young person and their friends, who will be chauffeur driven to the Metroradio Arena to see Blazin Squad in concert on Sunday, April 4.
It is part of a new drive by the council to rid the city of rubbish.
