REHEARSALS are under way for the next performance of Ripon's St Cecilia Orchestra.
Music by Bach, Stravinsky and Mozart will be performed at their next concert, on Saturday, at Holy Trinity Church, Ripon.
The programme opens with two of Bach's Brandenburg Concertos, in which the soloists are Danny Williams on violin, Leslie Beaumont on flute, Christine Alp on harpsichord, and Katie Stables and Louise Lansdown on viola.
Stravinsky's Concerto in E flat follows. The programme ends with Mozart's Symphony No 33 in B flat.
The concert begins at 7.30pm and will be conducted by the orchestra's founder, Xen Kelsey.
Tickets cost £10, adult concessions £8 and students £5. A discount of £1 applies to tickets bought in advance. They are on sale at Ripon Cathedral Shop, Ripon Travel, Arcadia Music and Pomp and Circumstance in Harrogate, and at the Ripon and Harrogate tourist information centres.
