Crook Travellers Rest A were able to move up into second place in the First Division after they only dropped two points to the visiting Crook Golden Fleece.
The home side had singles wins from Stephen Todd, Anthony Bell, Tony Storey, Dave Poulter and Terry Davies, whilst the only singles for the Fleece came from Chris Baker with Gus Witton and Dave March adding the doubles.
Crook Belle Vue Club lead the First Division by nine points from the Travellers Rest B, who are one point ahead of their B team.
Crook Queen's Head A moved to the top of the Second Division after they beat the visiting Howden Australian by three points. The visitors made a great start with wins from Michael lee and Peter Johnson but from that point the Queen's took over. They won the remaining singles through Peter Genner, Neil Harker, John Howarth and Dave Willey with Doug Smailes joining Peter Genner to add the doubles.
This win for the Queen's moves them two points clear of Crook Coach and Horses B, who went down by three points at Stanley Earl Derby. Willington Brewer's Droop are in third place, eight points behind the Coach B.
