A GROUP of secondary school pupils are preparing for a gospel concert.
The youngsters, from Grangefield School, in Stockton, will take part in the event with the Birmingham group Black Voices, which is holding workshops in schools on Teesside.
Two members of the group have visited Grangefield and taught the pupils three songs that will be included in the programme for the concert, at Stockton Baptist Tabernacle Church, on March 30.
Rupert Booth, head of music at the school, said: "It was a really successful and enjoyable session for the pupils. "The members of the Black Voices had a super approach and the pupils responded with some excellent singing. It was rewarding just to watch and listen."
