CHILDREN'S writer and TV presenter Nick Arnold is bringing his popular blend of science and fun to the North-East as part of a city's Science Festival.
Famous for his best-selling Horrible Science series of children's books, Mr Arnoldwill perform two shows at the Life Science Centre, in Newcastle, next Sunday.

The show will be packed full of rotten, noisy, funny eye-popping experiments and quizzes taken from his book and promises to be great fun for families.
In the afternoon, Mr Arnold will return for his Wicked Wildlife Show.

Linda Conlon, chairman of the Newcastle Science Festival, said: "Nick Arnold captures children's imagination through his Horrible Science books and brings the science in them to life in his performances.
"His involvement in the Science Festival promises to be one of the highlights."
Both of the shows are free of charge to all visitors.
