A 25,000sq ft business park has changed hands in a £1.25m deal.
Sycamore Business Park, at Copt Hewick, near Ripon, North Yorkshire, has been bought by Colin Stamp, of Waste Disposals Ltd, in a deal facilitated and part-funded by Lloyds TSB Corporate.
Mr Stamp is the former managing director of Litterboss, a company specialising in the exterior maintenance of business parks.
He set up the company 16 years ago, building its turnover to £5.5m, before selling the business two-and-a-half years ago, remaining on the board as non-executive chairman.
Units at Sycamore Park, which has been established for four years, are exclusively for the use of non-polluting businesses.
Mr Stamp said: "Having been involved with the maintenance of business parks nationally for over 16 years, I was excited to find one with such a strong, clean-tenant philosophy.
"Also, having started a business from scratch, I am aware of the difficulties faced when starting out and I am keen to provide support to start-up businesses.
