FREE courses are being set up for adult learners in the borough of Stockton.
The coursesare funded by the Single regeneration Budget 6 Local Project and are intended for adults who want to improve their career prospects or learn for fun.
Courses on offer include emergency first aid, at Ragworth Neighbourhood Centre, Stockton, next Monday and Tuesday, from 9.15am to 12.45pm; basic food hygiene at Primrose Hill Community Centre, Appleton Road, Stockton, on April 23, from 9am and 12.30pm and on April 30, from 9am to 1.30pm, and child protection at the Richard Hind Centre, in Yarm Road, Stockton, on April 21, time to be arranged.
A beginners computer course is also being planned at Newtown Community Centre, Stockton.
