Barnard Castle musician and songwriter Andrew Yeadon will perform in the Witham Hall, Barnard Castle, on Saturday, April 3, to promote his latest album, called Timepiece.
The album was recorded between August last year and January this year, at the Teesdale Community Resources studios, where Mr Yeadon works.
It features acoustic guitars, violins, piano and African djembe drums.
Mr Yeadon said: "The general theme of the album is about change in the way people are seeing things.
"I have tried to get quite an earthy sound, and I have tried to keep it as true to me as I could, without being too influenced by what other people think."
For next month's concert, Mr Yeadon will be joined by fiddle player Paul Hughes, bass player John Marriott and drummer Mike Tulloch.
Tickets, costing £5, or £3 for concessions, are available from the Witham Hall booking office between 10am and noon on every weekday except Thursdays, or they can be obtained by telephoning (01833) 631107.
