AN award-winning library is offering guided tours of its services to help mark its second birthday.
The Durham County Council-run Clayport Library, in Durham City, will also be asking its borrowers and visitors for their views on services and suggestions for future improvements.
"The tours give our customers the opportunity to find out what we're trying to achieve, how we choose the stock and see the type of classes and activities we offer,'' said manager June Gowland.
"We would also welcome any comments they might have on our services.''
The tours will be held today, between 10am and noon, and again next Friday, from 2pm to 4pm.
Anyone wanting to take part on one of the tours should give their name to a staff member and arrange a convenient time.
