THE new business venture of Sage founder Graham Wylie is going from strength to strength with the announcement that it has made another acquisition.
Technology Services Group (TSG) has bought IT services business, Orlando IT Ltd, of Manchester - one of the largest retailers of Sage and Microsoft business systems in the North-West.
TSG was formed last year with the acquisition of Joynson Limited, of Newcastle, and CPA Systems, of Teesside.
Mr Wylie aims to give small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) a high level of service to ensure that they get more out of their IT investment.
"Many businesses are now looking for their IT system to deliver real competitive advantage," he said.
"That usually means a combination of improving customer service, managing costs, improving business process efficiency and attracting new customers.
"We have bought Orlando IT because it is a highly respected and well run business with the right skill set. We also know that their service standards are extremely high.
"Our aim is to make Technology Services Group the IT supplier of choice across the North of England. The Orlando IT acquisition is the cornerstone of our strategy in the North-West and we have plans to expand the business in the near future."
TSG now has offices in Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Sheffield and Manchester.
