GUESTS at a charity fundraiser are hoping to get their hands on a Jaguar.
The Children's Hope Foundation is holding a ball at Lumley Castle, Chester-le-Street, County Durham, a week tomorrow. The star prize is the use of a Jaguar X-type saloon for a weekend.
Reg Vardy has donated the experience as a raffle prize for the ball, which is being held to raise money for the charity's Little Angel fund.
The company's principal dealer, Clive Hammond, said: "As one of the North-East's leading employers and community partners, Reg Vardy is proud to support the Children's Hospice Foundation.
"We are delighted to donate one of the most desirable cars in the range by offering a weekend of luxury behind the wheel of a stunning car."
The evening includes a three-course meal and entertainment from a piper, harpist, live band and a disco.
Guests can stay in the castle's rooms at discounted rates.
Ball tickets are £40, available on 0191-514 2856.
