AN award-winning theatre is looking for volunteers interested in challenging theatre roles.
The restored Georgian Theatre Royal, in Richmond, needs three duty managers to supplement its permanent staff.
Responsible for the running of the front-of-house operation, the recruits would report to the assistant manager but could be asked to attend to artists and the public as well as fellow staff.
Training and support will be given for the posts, which could offer a first step into a career in theatre or a rewarding challenge for someone who may be retired or would enjoy helping the theatre develop.
"This is an important initiative,'' said theatre manager Vaughn Curtis.
"The Georgian has always relied on voluntary effort to deliver its varied programme and these three posts are an opportunity to join us at a very exciting stage in the life of the theatre."
Further information about the vacancies are available from Jayne Duncan, on (01748) 823710.
