SOUTH Durham Hunt members showed their solidarity by holding their last meet of the season in Tony Blair's home village.
They gathered at the Red Lion pub in Trimdon Village last Saturday amid fears that it might be the last time they can celebrate their sport.
If the Government has its way, hunting will become illegal despite a huge campaign by the Countryside Alliance to keep it going.
Mark Shotton, hunt master, said: "We've got a cross-section of people here, everything from the farmer and the blacksmith to the chap who works in a factory and the council worker who sweeps the road.
"They all get the enjoyment of being on a horse and going across country. They don't know what obstacles they are going face, or where the obstacles will be."
An end-of-season party was held in Bishopton after the hunt.
