Welterweight Oscar Hall got back on the winning trail with a victory while Argie Ward also chalked up another success when they fought at the Dolphin Centre, Darlington last Friday.
However, the main bout of the evening, a Northern area light middleweight title fight between Francis Jones of Darlington and Gateshead's Danny Moir, was abandoned after the third round due to crowd trouble.
At the end of last year Hall's unbeaten pro record was ended with two successive defeats but he bounced back against the durable Karl Taylor of Birmingham, winning on points after a tough battle.
Ward protected his unbeaten record with a 59-57 win over Steve Gethin of Walsall while Haroon Din of Thornaby won the first bout of the evening, out-pointing Jason Nesbitt 60-54.
The following evening another impressive performance from Crook light-welterweight Nigel Wright at Glasgow's Braehead Arena saw him improve his record to 10-1 with a third round defeat of Hawick's George Telfer.
Scotsman Telfer had lost just once in five previous outings but he found the step up in class just too much against a confident Wright who was cheered by a vociferous bunch of fans.
The referee called a halt with just 40 seconds of the third round had gone.
Wright said that despite a tough first round he always knew he had the power to see off his opponent.
