Auckland Area CIU League: In the re-arranged matches, West Auckland confirmed their darts title and Cockton Hill assured themselves of the runners-up spot.
Horndale took the team game at West Auckland but it was their only point as Brian Denham, Tony Mundell, John Denham and Chris Kitch won for the home side. Evenwood won the team game against the visiting Cockton Hill, who took the remaining games through Kenny Richardson, Kevin Spensley, Tommy Ward and John Carney. Evenwood missed a great chance take over the top spot in the dominoes section when they were whitewashed at home to Cockton Hill, leaving them two points behind Old Shildon. The Hill's winners were Harry Ellison, Alan Lamb, Alan Lithgow and Barry Talbot.
Horndale closed the gap on Eldon Lane at the top of the whist section with their draw at West Auckland, whilst their two points win in the 5's and 3's section moved them four points clear of Old Shildon.
The pool section is very close with West Auckland joining Old Shildon at the top following their maximum win over Evenwood. Eldon Lane are one point adrift with Cockton Hill a further two points behind. The winners for West were Peter Brownson, Chris Kitch, John Richardson and Brian Denham. Cockton Hill had points from Russell Place, Kevin Nixon and Peter Race, whilst Michael Townsend replied for Evenwood.

Willington Ladies League
Sunnybrow Brown Trout and Willington Club A both scored six points at darts to reduce the lead of Willington Club B, who lost by the odd point at Willington Cottles B, to 15 points. In the dominoes section, Willington Market moved up to share top spot with Willington Burn, who lead Willington Cottles B by one point. The Prospect Club are a further six points adrift.
